Jutta Cuny-Franz Memorial Award

Every two years, the Jutta Cuny-Franz Memorial Award is granted to artists who make significant use of glass in their work.

The Jutta Cuny-Franz Foundation supports artists who show outstanding talent and make significant use of glass in their work. The foundation’s main instrument is the award of prizes every two years. The Jutta Cuny-Franz Memorial Award is endowed with 10,000 Euro. Additionally, two talent prizes are awarded, each with an endowment of 1,500 Euro. The award winners should not be older than 40 years. Their works will be published in the journal "New Glass".

Online applications will be accepted from 1 August to 11 October 2022.

Mother Art Prize

Application deadline: October 15, 2022

We are beyond excited to be back with the 4th edition of the Mother Art Prize, the only international prize for women and non-binary artists who are mothers / parents.

The awards this year are:

  • A group show featuring up to 20 selected artists hosted at Zabludowicz Collection in Spring 2023.
  • Online solo exhibition with Richard Saltoun Gallery.
  • Up to 1 month Residency at the Mother House Studios in London with mentoring sessions with Sylvie Gormezano.
  • £1000 Cash prize towards the production of a new work co-commissioned by Diversity Art Forum and Procreate Project.

Deadline 15th of Oct 2022. The entry fee remains £15 for up to 3 artworks.

Foundwork Artist Prize

Application deadline: December 31, 2022

We are delighted to announce the open call and jury for our 2022 Foundwork Artist Prize. This year, one honoree will receive an unrestricted $10,000 grant and studio visits with our distinguished jurors whom you can read about below. In addition, the honoree and three shortlisted artists will be invited for interviews as part of our Dialogues program to further public engagement.

This year's Prize is open to artists residing anywhere in the world with limited exceptions, and artists working in any media are eligible.

To be considered for the 2022 Prize, artists will need to maintain a published profile on Foundwork, with at least six artworks and an artist statement published on their profile page, throughout this year's selection period:
