The Art Prize calls for site specific artworks created to be part of a configured environment; works which narrate an internal path\/route, and which can be reference points\/landmarks within their exhibition space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Similar to last years\u2019 prize, the 2024 Art Prize is open to Greek and international artists. Three proposals will be selected and awarded equally for their originality, creativity, site-specificity, and connection with the theme of Care, which is the main topic of the Research Residency Programmes organised by the Foundation as well as of the ongoing Care Ecologies project, partly funded by Creative Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each of the three selected proposals will be awarded the amount of 7,000 euros, additional 5,000 euros will be made available to each artist for the construction of the work. The artists will have from mid-February until the end of May to create their work and send it to Crete for installation.
