Located on the shores of Lake Geneva in La Tour-de-Peilz, between Vevey and Montreux, La Becque combines a distinctive natural setting with strong international connections. Particular attention is given to projects that critically engage with the entanglements between nature, ecology, and technology. The residency period is conceived as a time for reflection rather than production-driven output.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La Becque welcomes practitioners from all artistic disciplines and backgrounds. The program is open to artists working in architecture, critical writing, design, film, media arts, music and sound art, performing arts, photography, visual arts, as well as interdisciplinary research practices that move between and beyond established fields. Established practitioners as well as emerging voices with a strong developmental trajectory are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Residents will receive a monthly stipend of CHF 1,500 to cover living expenses and production costs. The grant is adapted for artists\u2019 collectives according to the number of members in the group, up to CHF 2,500 for the whole group.
