While in residency, artists have the freedom to fully focus on artistic research, exploration, and creation while also engaging with McColl Center\u2019s\u00a0Igniters community\u00a0and the local creative sector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Artists-in-Residence receive private housing adjacent to McColl Center, a large-scale private studio in the historic building in Uptown Charlotte with access to labs and studios, curatorial guidance, and a stipend of $6,000 over the 14 week residency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Extras: For Children of the artist of the ages 6-14, a summer-camp is provided.
