He studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe as well as is in Tianjin (China) and Minnesota (United States of America). He was a meistersch\u00fcler under Leni Hoffmann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nils Weiligmann\u2019s works are a mix of objects and site-specific installations. The ruinous touches he brings into the materials shape and define his works. The objects wear and tire throughout the creation process. They develop an allure that repels at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The parasitic installations \u2018claw\u2019 their way into architecture, begin to \u2018encroach\u2019 and redefine spaces.
