The 10th Echigo-Tsumari Art‬ is calling for submissions of Artworks and performances to be presented during the Triennale, scheduled for 2027 (date to be determined). The chosen artworks are‬ expected to highlight the unique history and culture of Echigo-Tsumari region and‬ feature distinctive and abundant nature that has the power to raise awareness of‬ ‭Echigo-Tsumari internationally.‬ Entries are possible with a free proposal, i.e. a proposal for an artwork or performance to be developed at the‬ Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, or a Proposal for a selected site/project‬. The application window is open between Tuesday, November 4, 2025 – Tuesday, November 11, 2025 (must arrive by 17:00)‬.

‭Professional artists can apply.

‬‭The triennale offers a production cost subsidy of approx. 500,000–2,500,000 JPY (ca. 2800 – 14.000 €)
