The Art Explora foundation, in collaboration with the Cité internationale des arts, welcomes every year about twenty residents, artists and researchers from all over the world. This programme offers the possibility for artists and artist collectives to carry out research and creation work in the heart of Paris, in connection with the French artistic and professional scene. Applicants are invited to present a project that explores the links between art and science, the themes of scientific and technological exploration or contemporary social and environmental issues.

Artists from all over the world (no age limit) are invited to submit their applications for the SOLO (6-month residency, 2 sessions per year) or COLLECTIVE (for collectives, 3-month residency, 4 sessions per year) programme on our application platform. Eligible are those who can justify a minimum of five years of professional activity.

Each resident/collective will benefit from: a studio-apartment of about 50m2, fully equipped and furnished, a grant of 1,000 euros per month + production grant of up to 3,000 euros.
