The Bibliothek Andreas Züst offers six-week studio residency stipends from 22. July to 30. August 2026 for duos and collectives.. The residency takes place at the Alpenhof panorama lodge in Oberegg, Switzerland, at 1,110 m above sea level overlooking the Rhine Valley and Lake Constance. It is conceived as a place for retreat, exchange, and exploration — where landscape, research, and art meet. The program continues the tradition of libraries as places of knowledge and diversity, supporting projects that engage with the Bibliothek Andreas Züst as a whole or one of its sub-areas.
The residency is open to national and international cultural workers (duos and collectives of up to five people) from all disciplines — visual arts, literature, new media, music, theatre, design, architecture, film, photography, and related fields.
Accommodation, food, and studio use are provided free of charge. Each participant is given a private bedroom and access to shared studios and communal spaces. Travel costs are covered, and an additional subsidy of up to CHF 750 for living expenses may be requested.
