CAM is the cultural partner for the implementation of three «Bauhaus of the Seas Sails» innovative projects in Portugal. Calls are open for three fully funded three-month international artistic residencies, to be developed in 2024.

Art & Science Residency ‘A Call to the Sea’: collaborative projects between visual artists, scientists, and the local community aimed at rethinking zoologic museum collections. The project should span three months and be carried out between July 1st and December 1st, 2024.

Art & Food Residency ‘Eating Between Tides’: collaborative projects between artists, chefs, youth, and the local community to create a menu that highlights global food system challenges and proposes innovative regenerative solutions for the future. The submitted project should span three-months and be carried out between September 10th and December 1st, 2024. 

Art & Design Residency ‘Radical Waters – Concrete Matters’: collaborative projects aimed at exploring research-based water material applications in coastal urban environments, aiming to inspire regenerative change within the local mindset ecosystem. The submitted project should span three months and be carried out between July 1st and December 1st, 2024.

Financial support of 10.000€ per project should cover fees, expenses and production.
