The Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation supports artists working in traditional mediums with representational style with financial assistance by way of grants. The funds of the Foundation are to help young artists to acquire the necessary training, skills and competence in the traditional artistic methods.

The foundation will only fund young artists who are pursuing their studies or are in the early stage of their career, are working in a representational style of painting, drawing, sculpture or printmaking. 

First grants are in the amount of 17.000 Dollar. Grants are made directly to the artist, not to or through other organisation. Grantees may not receive more than three grants in their life-time.
