The Loeb Fellowship is a year-long residential fellowship for mid-career practitioners whose work is advancing positive social outcomes through the shaping of the built and natural environments.
Each year, the Loeb Fellowship seeks to build a diverse cohort of exceptional practitioners in the US and around the world with a minimum of five to ten years of experience in their fields. Practitioners with experience in diverse community settings, and individuals from historically underrecognized groups and communities are encouraged to apply. The Fellowship does not have educational or degree requirements. Professionals with atypical educational or career paths are welcome.
Past Fellows have included urban planners and designers, public artists, landscape architects, journalists, architects, activists, policymakers, and community development leaders, among other interests and professions.
Each Fellow is provided a stipend, housing, and access to the educational resources of both Harvard and MIT over the course of the academic year. Upon completion, Loeb Fellows join an alumni network of over 450 practitioners, a lifelong community of diverse and engaged professionals.
