Open Source Gallery is an arts-based non-profit organization in Brooklyne (USA) inspired by the open source movement. In the spirit of this free exchange of knowledge, it providse a forum where art intersects with the community and the world at large. Open Source energizes a diverse and creative community for people of all ages and backgrounds with an emphasis on expression, experimentation, sustainability, and social engagement, creating an approachable space dedicated to the accessibility of contemporary visual art.
For the 2026 Open Call, artists working in any medium and location whose practices emphasize experimentation, sustainability, and social engagement can apply for realising an exhibition at Open Source Gallery. Selected artists will receive artist fees based on the W.A.G.E. certification schedule, a production budget, and support from Open Source in the form of planning, production and communications.
