Charlotte Eifler

Charlotte Eifler (*1985) (*1985) lives and works in Karlsruhe and Leipzig. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig, the Berlin University of Arts and the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf.

Charlotte Eifler is an artist and filmmaker and works with film, performance, installation and XR. Her artistic projects deal with the political representation of technology. With a focus on queer-feminist approaches and elements of science fiction, Eifler explores processes of image production and visualisations of alternative futures.

Charlotte Eifler’s works have been shown internationally in renowned exhibition venues and as part of various biennials and festivals. She is a member of numerous networks, including unlearning canon_intersectional teaching in Art & Design, Digital Critique, feat.fem, FACES – gender, technology, art and G-Edit. She has also been teaching media art at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design, where she helds a professorship for Mixed Realities since 2024.
