Stefan Burger

Stefan Burger (*1977) lives and works in Zurich, Switzerland. He studied photography at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHDK) from 1999 until 2003.

Over the past 25 years, Stefan Burger has developed a conceptual and eclectic practice in the fields of photography, film, and sculpture that examines the material, technical, and institutional conditions under which images are produced, reproduced, and exhibited.

His works have been shown in numerous international solo and group exhibitions, including at the Kunsthalle Bern, the Fotomuseum Winterthur, and the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart.
